Cafe Matisse is under renovation for a few weeks, so the
regular Sunday practica is on hiatus. Stay tuned for
it's grand return!
This Saturday, Oct. 25, Casa Argentina and the Univ. of
St. Thomas present "A Night of Tango", a tango recital
with pianist Rene Casarsa and dancing by two local tango
couples. http://www.casaargentina.org/Eventos/rene.htm
Victor & Susana host their alternating Friday milonga this
weekend. Martin & Natia's milonga is off this Saturday,
as they are performing with Joan & Roger at "A Night
of Tango." In addition, Martin & Natia have merged their
Friday classes into one intermediate/advanced class at 7pm.
Next Friday, Oct. 31, you will have your choice of two
Halloween milongas. Martin & Natia are hosting a new
milonga, while Victor & Susana hold their 3rd Annual
Halloween Milonga. We hear that there is a core group
of tangueros from San Antonio planning to attend Victor's
milonga next Friday.
Mercy & Leonor of Toe to Toe continue their series of
three (at least - we can hope!) afternoon practicas
in the Galleria common area between Macy's and Saks
near Baby Gap. The time has been trimmed a bit,
4:30-7pm, still plenty of time to dance. FREE.
