Workshops: October 7, 11, and 12, 2003 The Houston Argentine Tango
Association is pleased to host Cacho Dante for his third annual
visit.  In keeping with our years of class and workshop focus on
the authentic apilado (connected) style, Cacho will further our
studies by building on his work from previous years, and that
of guest instructors, i.e., Susana Miller, Brigitta Winkler,
Christopher Nassopoulos, and others who teach Milonguero Style.

One of Buenos Aires' true milongueros, Cacho has been dancing
tango for over 40 years. He brings students the distillation of
years of experience on the dance floors of Buenos Aires, and
offers his unique and precise teaching methods honed over the
last 13 years, making him an exceptional and highly effective
tango teacher.  Cacho has taught Milonguero Style tango not only
in Buenos Aires, but also during annual tours of Europe and the
United States.       

Cacho's personality endears him to everyone, so his workshops are
very engaging while they emphasize step quality, centering and
balance, posture, and creative variations on the most useful social
dance floor "possibilities."  Cacho is a master of subtle body
language. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from the best!  

In tribute to his reputation as a dancer, Cacho was featured during
a typical Buenos Aires milonga in the film The Tango Lesson and
will again be featured in Chasing the Ghost, the documentary film
currently in production.
