Happy New Year!

We are pleased to welcome back Robin and Jennifer for their second
round of workshops in Houston. We have very successful classes
last year and are very excited.

They will be here from February 4th - 6th for a weekend of
workshops and milongas. They are also available for private lessons
so please email me if you are interested. Early registration for
the workshops ends January 30th, after which prices go up. Please
let me know as soon as possible if you are interested so I can
reserve your spot. Last year we filled up fast.

Robin and Jennifer

A life-long dancer based in New York City, Jennifer studied various
forms of dance from childhood until she discovered the Argentine
Tango a few years ago. She was entranced by the beauty and energy
of this art form and completely devoted herself to it. Today, an
elegant and accomplished tanguera who is able to lead as well as
follow, she moves with a natural grace and expressive fluidity.
A well-known and respected dancer and DJ, Robin's enthusiasm for
tango can be seen most clearly in his wholehearted dedication to
teaching. He believes that it is very important for students to
dance simply and musically from the very beginning. Building
that strong base of connection and musicality early, Robin
believes, will allow even very new beginners to feel comfortable
and confident on a crowded dance floor and will also lead to a
more comprehensive and fluid understanding of more complicated
techniques later on. We are pleased to welcome them back to
Houston!

4:00 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. Follower's Embellishment Bootcamp

Saturday Milonga Location to be announced. Includes a performance
by Robin and Jen, $10.


Sunday, Feb 6th

1:00 p.m. - 2:20 p.m. Whiplash: Boleos in Close Embrace

2:30 p.m. - 3:50 p.m. Wraparound: Ganchos 

4:00 p.m. - 5:20 p.m. Ganchos in Turns 



Prices:  

Whole weekend package includes six classes, and Saturday milonga.

Registration* before January 30th: $90 for whole weekend, each class $15

Registration after January 30th: $120 for whole weekend, each class $20
