Toe to Toe hosts Robin Thomas & Jennifer Bratt for
a tango workshop this weekend, Jan 31-Feb 1. All day
Saturday is foundational material for both beginners and
advanced dancers. Sunday moves into more advanced topics.
In addition, Toe to Toe is hosting a practica/milonga,
La Practilonga, on Friday and a full scale milonga
on Saturday. Saturday's milonga will include a
performance by Robin & Jennifer. Don't miss any of it!

Glover Gill of Glovertango plays delicious solo tango
piano at the Continental Club from 8-9pm. Come to dance

The Houston Argentine Tango Association continues
a seven week class cycle this week. Students may

Wednesday
Victor Collins teaches class - beginner 7-8pm, practica
from 8-8:30pm, intermediate/advanced from 8:30-9:30pm,
with practica until 10pm. $10/class, or $70 for a
package of eight. Victor Collins teaches at his studio
at 7026 Old Katy Road, Suite 281, in The Resource Center.

Thursday
Toe to Toe continues their classes at Rice University, in
association with the Rice Ballroom Dance Society, on the
Rice campus, 7-8pm, $50/person for the entire semester (Jan

Friday
Roger Soto hosts La Practilonga to kick off Robin &
Jennifer's weekend workshop, 1912 Bissonnet, 9-12pm,
$5/person. This is a great way to check out Robin &
Jennifer's style and skill, and join the workshop on
Saturday. There will be a special guest DJ coordinating
the dance music. Refreshments will be available, but by
all means BYOB.

Open dancing at Agora Cafe, 1712 Westheimer at Dunlavy,
just across the street from Brazil, from late until later
(generally after the practica above at Cafe Matisse). Agora
is an older house that has been beautifully remodeled with
an inlaid hardwood floor, an open design with balcony,
