Robert & Valerie Schoenberg regret to inform the tango
community that they must cancel their milonga scheduled
for this Saturday night, July 31. They will still be
helping Victor host the "August Birthday" dance at Dance
for Life on Saturday, August 7, from 9pm to 1am.
Victor Collins is suspending his private and group classes
beginning this Wednesday, as he is receiving treatment
for his back. We all wish Victor a speedy recovery!
(I presume) Susana will continue their Friday milonga on
the north side.
Michael Figart writes "Our good friend Raphaele is
presenting her work of art "Mykonos Relics" at De Zeta
Art Gallery in an opening reception on Saturday, July
31, from 6pm-9pm. The gallery is at 4200 Main St, ph
713-864-4245. Her work will be exhibited in conjunction
with others in a presentation entitled "Women in Art". I've
had the pleasure of viewing some of her work recently, and
I can state that it is striking and original; I was very
impressed! Raphaele does some really amazing, visionary,
'different' (original!) work in a style all her own. Check
it out!"
