Tango in Houston is getting pretty slow this week.
Most classes and events are on hiatus this week, so
be sure to confirm something is still happening before
driving too far. At least we can look forward to the
New Years bash at Dancing for Life next weekend.
"Dancing for Life" cordially invites you to their
"New Year's Eve Milonga Extravaganza" from 8 pm to 2
am. Milongeros will be accommodated in a private room
for 60 people. Admission $15, which will include: Water,
soft drinks, plates, silverware, napkins, cups, Midnight
Champagne toast and favors. Round tables with chairs
will be provided to seat all attendees in the private
room. Required RSVP by Friday, December 23rd. RSVP will not
be taken after room fulfils capacity. Attendees will bring
their favorite first or second course dish or a dessert
to share with the other Milongeros. Please, bring wine,
or other spirits of your choice as alcohol will not be
provided by Dancing for Life for this event. A special room
will be accommodated with tables to display the buffet with
all dishes, desserts and drinks. Come celebrate the new
Year and enjoy your favorite foods and drinks with your
friends to the pace of tango in a private and beautiful
environment. -Dancing for Life, 2726 Fondren Next to

renamed NASA Parkway. Google Maps have yet to get the
memo. Yahoo! Maps has. Both map services show their
data is derived from NAVTEQ, so go figure. The link below
says 911 E NASA Road 1, which is the same as NASA Parkway.]
