Mark your calendars! The Spring 2005 ALL HOUSTON MILONGA
(AHM) will be held Saturday April 9th from 8:30pm to 1:30am
at the Moon Water Grill at Waterford Marina (in Clear
Lake). Based on an original concept by Robert Schoenberg,
the next AHM will be held in a unique lakeside resort
restaurant. The evening will feature social dancing in
the beautiful Grand Dining Room, the best Argentine Tango
music, and a short Tango dancing demonstration. The Grand
Dining Room features a unique view of Clear Lake and of the
Waterford Marina, a fireplace, and a large wooden floor (of
course!). A menu will be available for guests wishing to
dine before or during the milonga. The grill also features
a full-service bar. The menu and other information about
the function will be posted on www.tangotango.us/ahm.html
as they become available. The entrance fee for the AHM is
$9 if you purchase your ticket(s) before March 20th (so
we can get an approximate head count before the event),
or $12 at the door. Don't wait, purchase your tickets
by communicating with Eric Lanoix. Complete details at
<http://www.tangotango.us/ahm.html>.
Toe to Toe announce their next workshop will be taught
by Ney Melo of New York/Buenos Aires, over the weekend of
May 7-8. Early bird discount available through April 30.

PSB Channel 8 will air a special "Tango: The Spirit of
Argentina" on Saturday, March 19 at 3:30pm. This program
displays the finest of Argentinean tango in a unique
performance special that brings together the best singers,
musicians, and dancers to showcase the past and present
of tango, one of the fastest-growing dance movements in
the United States. The first segment introduces tango
in all its color and vibrant life, tracing the history
of the dance from its earliest waterfront roots to its
latest symphonic interpretation. The second segment
highlights love and loss, the blend of sensuality,
sophistication, melancholy, and passion that is the true
soul of tango. The final segment reveals tango’s roots
in the urban landscape of Buenos Aires.
