        Tango in Houston is cranking back up this week.  Martin &
        Natia are teaching again on Friday.  The Suarezes are out
        of town until January and their classes are suspended until
        their return.  HATA starts their next cycle on January 17.
        Be sure to check with the organizer if in doubt about
        an event during this transition period.  I haven't heard
        from Victor Collins or Daniela, so confirm before you go.

        ArgenTango hosts another "Our Milonga" this Saturday
        evening from 8:30pm-12:30am at Dance Art, inside
        the Sterling Plaza, 9888 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 166,
        near Beltway 8, $10/person at the door.  Come join our
        milonga for an evening of fun. Snacks and soft drinks
        are provided. Please feel free to bring additional
        snacks/drinks and the spirit of sharing. Most importantly,

        "Dancing for Life" will host Argentine Tango dancing
        in the main ballroom every Second Saturday of the

Tuesday

        The Houston Argentine Tango Association will resume their
        classes on January 17, now with three classes each night.
        Joan Bishop instructs at their new location: The Dance
        Place, 3300 Chimney Rock @ Beverly Hill, Suite 500.
        This new space offers room to grow with new students.
        Beginner 7-8pm, Intermediate 8-9pm, Advanced 9-10pm.

Wednesday

        Salento Coffee sponsors a weekly tango event.  The dancing
        runs from 8:30pm to 10:00pm, and maybe longer if there
        is demand.  Salento Coffee is located at 2407 Rice Blvd
        in the Rice Village area: Salento moves all the tables
        to the walls and open up a nice floor of smooth tile.
        They even offer a special "Tango Sandwich."

        Little Napoli Friday tango is on hiatus until after the
        New Year.

        Victor's Friday milonga and free class continues on the
        far north side, but back at its old location: Arepas &

        Daniela Tudoran hosts a Sunday milonga at Helios, from
        8PM-11PM.  Location: 411 Westheimer, on the south side
        of the street after the intersection with Montrose and

        The Clear Lake Tango Club will host a bi-weekly Persian
        tea-time milonga every other Sunday from 4-6pm at the
        Cyrus Persian Grill.  The Cyrus Persian Grill is located
        at 911, NASA Parkway, Houston TX (in the Clear Lake
        area). Tel.:281-280-8200. To get there from town, take
        I-45 South, exit at Exit 25, and go left (East) Until you
        reach the restaurant.  The restaurant offers an excellent
        selection of Persian dishes (Eric recommends the food.)
        Admission is free, but guest are encouraged to have a

        renamed NASA Parkway.  Google Maps have yet to get the

        says 911 E NASA Road 1, which is the same as NASA Parkway.]
