[HouTango-L] TropiTango Dance and Fundraiser, June 23

La-fundacion.net, a publicly supported foundation, is pleased
to announce its annual TropiTango fundraiser dance to be held on
June 23rd, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. at the Melody Club, 3027 Crossview,
Houston Texas 77036. This year's fundraiser will collect funds
for the Virtual Hope initiative, a program aimed at providing
children 16-18 years of age in foster care, as well as other
at-risk youth, with computer skills.

TropiTango is a celebration of the Dance Rhythms and Culture
of the Americas, and will feature presentations by Martin and
Natia Pelaez and Salsa United, live music by Vallenato Band,
MexiColombia, guest appearances by Lucho Medina, vocalist of
the famed 8 de Colombia and Houston's own Eduardo Zetina in a
tribute to "El Zorzal Criollo", Carlos Gardel. To complete a
perfect evening, TropiTango will feature a Continental Rumba,
12 'til 2 with a unique blend of Continental dance rhythms from
Tango to Tropical to Two-Step by Dj.net.

There will also be over $1,000 in door prizes, a silent auction
and cash bar.
