The Gypsies throw their 33rd annual Julian Calendar New
Years Party this Sunday at Fitzgerald's, 2706 Live Oak
at Studewood, starting in the evening and running late.
Greg Harbar, leader of The Gypsies, always puts on a
great show, with lots of different dancing and other
performances. This is one time during the year when
people from many different dance groups can hang out
together and see what everyone else does. Don't miss it!

Dana McGuire announces the return of Argentine tango
to the newly reopened No Tsu Oh cafe (that's Houston
spelled backwards). Old timers can tell you about dancing
upstairs among the thousands of old shoes in boxes, lining
the walls. This event will be downstairs with their great
new sound system, and plenty of visibility. 314 Main
St. downtown. Sundays at 10pm, starting January 21.
