Event description: 
 
TropiTango is a celebration of the diverse dance rhythms of the
Americas. It will feature a special Tango presentation by Houston's
finest, Martin and Natia Pelaez, a Salsa show by United Salsa and a
Cumbia Spectacular by the Lonestar Family Dancers, Presentations
by vocalists Lucho Medina, former lead singer of the Ocho de
Colombia and Eduardo Zetina in a Tribute to Carlos Gardel. The
night will be complete with Conjunto Vallenato MexiColombia and
a Continental Rumba by DJ.net, with a blend of the best dancing
music of the Americas.

Purpose of the Event:

100% of funds raised will benefit la-fundacion.net, a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit foundation, actively engaged in closing the digital
divide in Texas, by providing education and technology to the
needy.

tickets to the TropiTango Charity Dance. Tickets may still be
purchased for $25/person, $180/Table on-line or by telephone
until Saturday, June 22nd, 2007; Tickets purchased prior to
the event may be picked up at the door, or by calling Alba at

Free TropiTango Workshops! Look out for them on the Dance floor.


Silent Auction

Thanks to the generosity of so many good folks in the Houston Dance
and Art community, we have added many items to the Silent Auction.

The Auction will run from 8:30 p.m. to 2:00 am. Everyone is invited
to take advantage of this unique opportunity to acquire unique
artwork and help bring Technology and Education to those in need.

There will be many, many, many door prizes, as well as other
