        Laura Pellegrino writes:

        1) For those of you who haven't yet heard (and/or who
haven't been reading the Tango Ops in Austin and Houston):

I am going to be hosting Murat and Michelle Erdemsel in
both cities in May. They are lovely dancers, charming
people and really great teachers to boot! I hope you
will put it down on your calendar to join us in either
        or both cities.

The dates are May 16th-18th in Austin (classes will take
place at Esquina on Sat. and Sun. with 3 classes each
day). Monica will host the welcome milonga at Esquina
on Friday night. The UT Tango club will host the Sat.
night milonga at the Quadrangle room at UT.

May 23rd-25th in Houston with classes taking place at the
River Oaks Community Center on Sat. and Sunday. Mikas and
his "gang of merry women" will be hosting the Sat. night
milonga in Houston. (Stay tuned for details on the location
        for the milonga).

        2) Also, it appears that we are going to be fortunate
enough to have my friend, Javier Antar, (from Buenos
Aires) staying with us here in Texas for 3 weeks this
summer. (June 24th-July 16th). He is one of the younger
generation of Nuevo dancers and I think you'll find his
dance to be extremely dynamic and fresh. He has taught all
over Europe and Canada. In addition to 1-day workshops
in both cities, he will likely be teaching a 3 week long
series in Austin throughout the time he is here. I hope
everybody will pounce on this opportunity to study with
somebody who is absolutely coming from the center of
        the storm.

Details, and pricing will be available on my website at
http://www.tangointexas.com/ shortly. Let me know if you
have questions and/or if you would like to get your name
on the list for privates with either M&M or Javier.
