Milonga Brasileña, Saturday, MAY 14, 2011 9pm - 12am.
$10 fee (free if you order dinner or drinks). Wonderful
food, good wine list, and plenty of parking. Hosted by
Rick (ricwms at swbell.net) and Teresa (terwms at swbell.net)
Williams at (281) 589-2644. The restaurant has a big
event on the first Saturday and asked us to move it back
a week.
If you like the coffee at the cafe, you need to visit the
deli/store, near the entrance to the cafe (to the left).
They sell the coffee and the ingredients for some of the
cafe's best desserts also. I love this place!
The milonga at D'AMICO DANCE is still on for May 20,
from 9:30 until 12:30 or longer. There are also many

Friday night I will host a practica for anyone wanting to
practice their recently acquired steps. D'AMICO DANCE
will allow us to use the space that Martin and Natia
normally use. The masters are busy with a professional
engagement so no class May, Friday 13 . I will do the
music for basic tango. No pros or teachers allowed.
This is a student/peer event.

Raul Agurcia, night manager of Salento Cafe, sponsors
a tango event on the third Wednesday of every month.
The dancing runs from 9 pm till midnight. Salento Cafe is
located at 2407 Rice Blvd in the Rice Village area: Salento
moves all the tables to the walls and open up a nice floor
of smooth tile. Tango music dj'ed by Oscar. Salento offers
a great selection of wines, including Argentine Malbec

every Friday from 10:00pm till 1:00am at Té House of

There will also be a $5 cover starting this Friday for
