Don't forget tonight (Friday) is the last regularly
scheduled milonga at Te'! Come dance, come listen,
and come hang out with friends in a delightfully cozy
atmosphere. I have tremendously enjoyed organizing the
milongas at House of Tea and I appreciate everyone's
support during the last several months during my term
        in office.

        Let's build a nice, friendly, all-inclusive tango
community, support each other and Houston's local events!

Our favorite DJ Ray Fonk will provide the music. $5,
includes $5 credit towards snacks and teas
        BYOB

Milonga Brasileña - Saturday, October 1

The October milonga at Emporio Brazilian Cafe is next
Saturday, October 1. The dancing starts at 9PM and lasts
until 12AM. The DJ is Adriano Quintana. His music is
always danceable and inspiring. I hope you can attend.

We attended a very good, small milonga by Mauro and
Elizabeth which was held at SSQQ. Their music was
wonderful. The floor at the _new_ SSQQ is one of the best
in Houston. Check their website for their next milonga.

I wish you all good health and enjoyable dancing.

Start off your month with a heavy dose of tango. Saturday,
October 1, has a variety of activities. After Fuad &
Özlem's class or René Casarsa's performance, wrap up your
evening with dinner and a milonga.

        Emporio Brazilian Café
        12288 Westheimer
$10, free if you order dinner or drinks.
