*Pablo Pugliese and Noel Strazza Houston Workshop June 5th-10th*

Beat the Houston heat and join us for an exciting tango workshop with the
famous tango instructors, Pablo Pugliese and Noel Strazza. Pablo and Noel
are known for their combination of the traditional and the contemporary. The
Village Voice described him as "an arresting dancer, capable of speed,
liquidity, and fire. At his best, he lets the dance consume every part of
his body, leaving nothing inert."

*Bios:*

As the son of the famous tango dancers Esther & Mingo Pugliese, Pablo
Pugliese has know the milongas in Buenos Aires, the codes, the technique
and the refinements of tango since childhood. He started teaching Tango
Argentino abroad at an early age with his mother. As a young man he moved
to New York to the Mecca of modern dance where he was scholarship student
at the Alvin Ailey School. He soon became known as an innovative
choreographer and dancer, especially in the tango scene.

Noel Strazza, was born in Buenos Aires and studied contemporary dance at
the "Taller de Danza Contemporanea" at the Theatre San Martin. She worked
with Oscar Araiz as a dancer and co-choreographer. Noel has been dancing
and teaching tango in 1997. With Pablo Veron, who was her partner at the
time, she toured through Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA.

Noel & Pablo worked together since 2006, they have been performing and
teaching in the most prestigious Tango festivals around Europe and United
States, they founded their own dance company "Extempore Danse", they have
presented their contemporary tango pieces in Buenos Aires, Montreal, Basel
and Dusseldorf. They also continue their teaching career, imparting master
classes in different cities around the world.

3:30-5:00- Back and Front Voleos (Intermediate/Advanced)

Sunday, June 9th
12:00-1:30- Paradas and Pasadas (Intermediate)
1:45-3:15- Turning with Combinations of Changes of Direction
(Intermediate/Advanced)
3:30-5:00- Back Sacadas (Advanced)

Saturday & Sunday Workshop, June 8-9th
$120 for 6 classes
$65 for 3 classes
$35 for 1 class
