Alsina updates us on Tango Houston
-<BR> Tango Houston kicks off its
annual membership drive<BR> at Milonga
del Centro. Tango Houston is a
non-profit<BR> organization dedicated
to the promotion of the Argentine<BR>
Tango in our city. With that purpose, over the
years<BR> it has organized milongas,
workshops and meetings<BR> to discuss
and learn about our common passion,
Tango.<BR> As things evolved and new
groups have been formed in the<BR>
city, we believe that the function of TH has to
evolve<BR> too, and therefore it will
start sponsoring some tango<BR>
activities and events which are in accord with its
goals.<BR> The first of those
activities sponsored by TH will be
the<BR> Milonga del Centro on
September 8th, in which members<BR> of
TH will receive a $5.00 discount on the price
of<BR> the ticket (normally $15.00)
Also, the membership fee<BR> has been
reduced to $10.00 per year, for those
joining<BR> TH before and up to
September 8th (membership can be<BR>
acquired at the milongas ticket counter the same
night),<BR> and TH members will keep
getting discounts in all the<BR>
events sponsored by the Institution. We need you
to<BR> become a member, to participate
and bring new ideas<BR> for the
continuing improvement and expansion of
the<BR> Argentine tango in Houston.

also visit <A href="http://www.planetfunk.tv">www.planetfunk.tv</A>

studio, location, and map.<BR> We
would also like to again mention that the

priced at $15.00 per person<BR> (which

be aware that the reservation will<BR>

proudly announce that Tango
Houston<BR> (<A
href="http://www.tangohouston.net">www.tangohouston.net</A>) has offered to
sponsor a portion<BR> of this
event. It has always been our only intention
to<BR> offer the tango community and
Houston an event with the<BR> flavor
of the traditional downtown Buenos Aires
Milongas.<BR> Therefore, we decided
that all proceeds from this event<BR>
would be entirely donated back to Tango Houston who
we<BR> feel will help promote
Argentine tango in all of Houston.<BR>
We look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing
all<BR> of you at Milonga del
