        Susana Collins hosts a milonga at Victor's studio this
        Friday.  Martin & Natia are evaluating their December
        milonga schedule, but no final word at this time.

        The Gypsies play their regular third Sunday gig at Cosmos.

        Susana Collins reports that Tuesday tango at the Belmar
        has been canceled permanently.

        The Houston tango community celebrates the recent wedding
        of Joe Loh and Serap Sencer.  I think that makes four
        weddings between Houston tangueros and tangueras in the
        history of our community.

Monday

        Glover Gill of Glovertango plays delicious solo tango
        piano at the Continental Club from 8-9pm. Come to dance
        or just to hang out in the relaxed atmosphere. 3700 Main

        Victor Collins has suspended classes until Jan 14.

        Susana Collins hosts the every other Friday milonga at
        Victor's studio, starting at 8pm, often with a special
        performance or teaching an Argentine folk dance.  Entrance
        is $7.00 per person, soft drinks and snacks provided, with
        a $2.00 discount to those bringing additional food/drink

        Open dancing at Agora Cafe, 1712 Westheimer at Dunlavy,
        just across the street from Brazil, from late until later
        (generally after the practica above at Cafe Matisse). Agora
        is an older house that has been beautifully remodeled with
        an inlaid hardwood floor, an open design with balcony,
        and large windows open to the street. No cover, with
        sandwiches for sale and a full bar. Derik has stocked
