        We had great Halloween milongas last week, and special
        thanks to out of town visitors from San Antonio!
        Victor Collins writes: "I want to thanks the presence of
        the Houston and around Houston tangueros at our Third
        Annual Halloween Milonga, making the milonga a great
        sucess. Special thanks to the visiting San Antonio
        tangueros. A few of them were early at the studio and
        helped us to finish with the decorations. In addition,
        great customs made it very difficult to select the
        winner. I will work hard to further improve next year's
        Halloween Milonga."

        This weekend we are getting back to normal with Victor &
        Susana hosting their Friday milonga.  Always Tango with
        Juan Carlos & Alicia Suarez are also holding their First
        Friday Milonga at Helios.  Helios starts a bit late and
        closes the place down, so Victor plans to end a little
        early to allow everyone to head over to Helios to finish
        off Friday night.  It's a tango double header!

        No response from my queries to Martin & Natia, so please
        check with them for their milonga schedule.

        Toe to Toe continues their new Saturday afternoon practica
        in Harry's Restaurant, details below.

        Thursday night at the Cotton Exchange Bar continues to build,
        with hundreds of tango flyers being distributed downtown
        by Derik & the bar management.

Monday

        Glover Gill of Glovertango plays delicious solo tango
        piano at the Continental Club from 8-9pm. Come to dance
        or just to hang out in the relaxed atmosphere. 3700 Main

Tuesday

        The Houston Argentine Tango Association continues a new
        seven week class cycle tonight.  New students may enter
        through the second week of class. Joan Bishop & Roger

        Susana Collins hosts tango dancing at The Belmar, a new
        upscale club near Kirby & Richmond.  Plenty of couches
        and tables encircling a great dance area, with super
        sound system, full bar, and a "Tango Tuesday" special
        for wine and sangria.  2710 Richmond near Kirby, 8:30pm
        until 2:00am.  No cover charge, but it always helps to
        support our hosts with business

Wednesday

        Victor Collins teaches class - beginner 7-8pm, practica
        from 8-8:30pm, intermediate/advanced from 8:30-9:30pm,
        with practica until 10pm. $10/class, or $70 for a
        package of eight. Victor Collins teaches at his studio
        at 7026 Old Katy Road, Suite 281, in The Resource Center.

        Susana & Derik host tango dancing at the Cotton Exchange
        Bar, an elegant & historic downtown venue at Franklin &
        Travis. Leonor plays recorded music starts at 10pm, and
        usually later Greg Harbar and his world music ensemble

        just across the street from Brazil, from late until later
        (generally after the practica above at Cafe Matisse). Agora
        is an older house that has been beautifully remodeled with
        an inlaid hardwood floor, an open design with balcony,
