Victor and Susana's regular Friday milonga on the north
side continues. The start time has been moved back to
8:30pm. Also, Victor now teaches on a monthly cycle,
so the material is organized into sections starting on
the first week of each month.
Toe to Toe brings back Mall'onga at The Galleria this
Saturday afternoon, starting at 5pm between Macys and
Saks Fifth Avenue on the first floor (entrance on the
corner of Sage & Westheimer). This seems to be the last
firm date for now. The Galleria won't commit more than
a few weeks at a time, so keep checking the Toe to Toe

HATA begins a new seven week class cycle on Tuesday,

Toe to Toe announces workshops with Mario Consiglieri and

There will be a live tango show on Saturday, May 8, from
9pm to 2am, sponsored by Osvaldo of Mediterranean Palace
Buffet at 1801 S. Dairy Ashford. George & Jairheley of
Tango Trio Rioplatence will perform a tango demonstration.
There will be dining, dancing and the show. The buffet
includes fifty different dishes. $23/person for the show

Tango Houston is finalizing details for a new Sunday
tango venue starting May 16; stay tuned for details.
Tango Houston has announced their annual membership
meeting will be held on Sunday, May 9. There are three
positions open on the board of directors, and this
could be your opportunity to support Argentine tango in
Houston. The location of the meeting will be announced

on the north side of town. Already a hot dining and dance
spot on the weekends, now adding tango night every Friday.

Sunday
Open dancing at Agora Cafe, 1712 Westheimer at Dunlavy,
just across the street from Brazil, starting late. Agora
is an older house that has been beautifully remodeled with
an inlaid hardwood floor, an open design with balcony,
and large windows open to the street. No cover, with
sandwiches for sale and a full bar. Derik has stocked
