        Victor Collins' milonga and free class on the north side
        of town continue this Friday, with a practica before
        the class.

            We are grateful to everyone who come last Saturday to
            the Melody Club,Art.Tango & Salsa night.  Because of
            your participation,we are able to continue this event
            every third Sat urday of the month.  We look forward
            to seeing everyone on October 16th at Melody Club.

        Casa Argentina de Houston hosts "A Night of Tango"
        on October 9 at 7:30pm, at the Univ. of St. Thomas Jones
        Hall.  The program includes a tango recital by pianist
        Rene Casarsa and tango dancing by four local dancers.
        This is a charity fundraiser, and net proceeds to be
        donated to the Santa Lucia School in Santa Fe, Argentina.

        Michael Figart reminds us that Tango Houston has a very
        extensive collection of audio CD's and instructional
        videos for your use. There is no charge for members of
        Tango Houston, and a very small charge for non-members,
        although they do require a security deposit. Please see

        Glover Gill of Glovertango normally plays delicious solo
        tango piano at the Continental Club, now with extended
        performance from 8-9:30pm.  Great crowds lately, let's
        keep the energy.  Come to dance or just to hang out in
