        Toe to Toe are resuming their monthly practica at Borders
        Bookstore: Mujeres (y Hombres) al borde Practica will be
        the 28th of January.  The "al Borde" practica at Borders
        Book Store on West Alabama. This will be a monthly event,
        last Friday of the month. 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.  (we often
        go later) DJ Leo. Great venue, nice floor, no pressure!

        ArgenTango hosts another "Our Practica" this Saturday
        evening from 6:30-8:30pm at Dance Arts, inside the Sterling
        Plaza, 9888 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 166, near Beltway 8,
        $3/person at the door.  Join them for a casual friendly
        gathering, wearing your comfortable wardrobe, but don't
        forget your best tango shoes because they will be dancing
        on a beautiful wood floor.  Warm up your feet and have

        Victor continues his Friday milongas on the north side,
        now including classes in chacarera, a dance popular in
        Buenos Aires milongas.

        Toe to Toe Tango announces the return of Robin & Jennifer
        to teach a full weekend of workshops Feb 4-6.  Full details

        registration runs through January 30.  Sign up today!

        Next weekend will bring two Saturday milongas.  Toe to
        Toe will host a milonga as part of the weekend visit of
        Robin & Jennifer.  The same night, Argentango will host
        an early Valentines milonga.  More details next week on
        these two milongas.

        Eric Lanoix & Michelle Lamb will be teaching an
        all-weekend tango workshop in San Antonio, TX on
        Fri-Sun Feb 18-20. There will be four 90-minutes
        classes (2 on each day), as well as a milonga on Friday
        night (Feb 18th). Called "Zen in the Art of Tango",
        this workshop will focus on tango dancing skills that
        everyone should have. This workshop is not about learning
        steps that you might forget within 1-2 weeks, or that
        no one will be able to practice with you... Eric and
        Michelle will be teaching brand new material that will
        help you better your tango, not just for a few weeks,

        The Gypsies have scheduled their annual Julian New Years
        party for Sunday, February 6.  More details to follow.
        (Yes, that is Superbowl Sunday, and there will be plenty

        Glover Gill of Glovertango plays delicious solo tango piano
        at the Continental Club, back to its original performance
        time, 8-9:00pm.  Come to dance or just to hang out in the

        north side of town. Already a hot dining and dance spot
        on the weekends, now adding tango night every Friday.
