Ilya Karash writes: 'Tango at the Crossroads' is
celebrating its 1-year anniversary on Thursday, July 7th.
It's hard to believe that it's already been a year
since we've started and I want to thank everyone who has
helped make this past year's only regular weekly milonga
such a great success. Please, come and celebrate this
special occasion, and your first glass of wine is on us.
        If you're a regular, we'll see you there. If it's been a
while since you've danced with us, this would be a great
opportunity to come again. If you haven't visited us yet,
stop by and check out a friendly tango atmosphere and best
music variety in town. The music is now DJed directly from
the dance floor, and no tango craving is left unsatisfied.
Special requests are always welcome and encouraged.

HATA starts a new seven week class cycle next Tuesday,
July 5, in a new location, The Dance Place, 3300 Chimney
Rock @ Beverly Hill, Suite 500. This new space offers room
to grow with new students. Beginner 7-8pm, Intermediate
        8-9pm, Advanced 9-10pm. http://www.houstontango.org/

Victor will not have his Friday milonga this week because
of the holiday. It will be back next Friday.

Daniela's Sunday practica is off this holiday weekend, but
it comes back on July 10, 17 and 24, at a new location,
upstairs at Helios, 411 Westheimer between Whitney and
Taft. Helios is not charging for the room, but a small
collection will be taken to help cover their A/C expense.

Martin & Natia have moved their Thursday Beginning class
to Friday, so all their group lessons are on Friday
now at Barbara King's new location, 5200 Bissonnet.
