ALWAYS TANGO PRESENTS 

SPECTACULAR DANCE EXHIBITION AND WORKSHOP SERIES
 

HOUSTON (May 20, 2005) - Dance enthusiasts from beginners to
professionals are invited to attend Soles Ablaze, an historic
dance exhibition and symposium, on Saturday, July 23rd at 8:00
p.m., Houston Community College - West Loop Auditorium 5601 West
Loop S. The dance team dubbed the "Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers"
of Tango, will take the audience through a memorable tour of Tango
history, from its beginnings in the alleys of Buenos Aires to the
heart-stopping fantasy performances that have thrilled thousands
throughout the world.

Always Tango announces the upcoming dance exhibition and series
of workshops by Anton Gazenbeeck and Natalie Laruccia, one of the
top Tango performers and instructors direct from Buenos Aires,
Argentina. Proceeds from Soles Ablaze will be donated to the
Houston Hispanic Forum.

Event organizer and Always Tango Co-Founder, Alicia Suarez, said,
"The dance community and the general public will have a unique
opportunity to witness the enchantment that is Anton Gazenbeeck,
Natalie Laruccia, and Argentine Tango at its finest! This stunning
dance team specializes in the historic styles of Tango, especially
the popular techniques of the Milongueros of the 1940s and 1950s,
eye-popping Tango `al reves', jumps and trick movements".

Additional scheduled workshops will be held on Saturday, July
16th; Sunday, July 17th; and Sunday, July 24th offering techniques
for dancers of all skill levels. Workshop One, for all levels,
will feature Salon Tango, Special Leader's Techniques, and Simple
Adornments. Workshop Two will feature Vals Criollo (all levels),
Milonga (all levels), and the Todaro-Bravo System (advanced and
professional). The third workshop, to be held on Sunday July
24th, will feature Tango al Revés, Popular Tango Figures from
the 1940's, 50's, and 60's (in two parts), for intermediate to
professional dancers.

Seating at the exhibition and workshop space is limited and
will be on a first come, first-served basis. Private and group
sessions will be scheduled, as time permits. Those interested

Always Tango was created by Juan Carlos and Alicia Suarez to
promote Tango and Tango history. Juan Carlos and Alicia were
born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the birth place of
Tango. They are lifetime dancers of the Tango and enjoy teaching
others the gift of dancing. Today, Juan Carlos and Alicia promote
Tango culture in Houston, Texas by teaching Argentine Tango,
sponsoring Tango exhibitions, lectures and plays. In 1999,
they were awarded the title of "Académicos Corresponsales"
(Corresponding Academicians) by the National Academy of Tango in
Buenos Aires, Argentina, a title which only 8 others hold in the
United States.
