Dear Tangueros y Tangueras,

As President of the SA Tangueros, I would like to extend a
personal invitation to you to join us for a wonderful weekend of
Tango. We are fortunate to be visited by Brooke Burdette, a well
known instructor and dancer whose dedication led her from one of
the first Tango movements in the U.S., all the way down to Buenos
Aires where she now lives, has married, and is raising their new
daughter Ines.

Brooke has put San Antonio on her yearly US tour for about 5 years
running, and her masterful instruction has certainly contributed
to the spread of Tango in our city. She is unique among the many
teachers of Tango because she is an American who has now been
long immersed in Argentina and can bridge the two cultures like
few others can. I feel strongly that to learn and appreciate the
Tango one must study the culture surrounding the dance; otherwise
it is just another series of patterns and "steps".

Whether you have been studying Tango with us all along, or
away for a while, or even new, there is a class for you this
weekend. Brooke will also try to fit in some private lesson time
for those interested.

I have listed the schedule below. Please take a few moments to
look through it and see if there are some classes of interest.
If you have any questions about Brooke or the classes please feel
free to write me back.

Abrazos,

Terry
