Of course things will be slow this weekend in Houston.
Daniela's Sunday Milonga at Helios is canceled, as are
the Al Borde Friday events for November and December.
I haven't heard directly about other events, but please
confirm with event organizers to avoid surprises.

Road Trip: The big tango event this weekend is in Austin.
November 23-27- "Fandango de Tango" in Austin, TX is
an annual tango festival held on Thanksgiving weekend
featuring a variety of fabulous tango teachers. This has
become one of the defacto "All Texas" events, and is not
to be missed. In particular, the Saturday milonga is
as close as we have to an All Texas Milonga. Complete
        details: http://www.learn2dance.com/

The Clear Lake Tango Club is happy to announce that
we will be hosting the next All Houston Milonga (AHM)
on Tango day, Dec 11th. We welcome you to join us that
Sunday afternoon, 1:30pm to 6:00pm, at the Sundance
II, the same location as the Spring 2005 AHM. This
resort restaurant was formerly the Moonwater Grill.
The Sundance II is located at 800, Mariners Drive in the
Waterford Marina in Kemah 77565. Entrance will be $10
($5 for Clear Lake Tango Club members). DJ'ing by Eric
Lanoix. Tangueros and non-dancers alike are encouraged to
attend. More information about the milonga can be obtained
by contacting Robert Barnes (btaybar at yahoo.com). This
Tango Day milonga will feature a demonstration at 4:15pm.
We ask for tanguero/as to volunteer to do a demonstration
to share their art and encourage newcomers (contact
eric at tangotango.us to volunteer). See you there!
