Tangueras and tangueros,

It was a pleasure to listen to Glover Gill's music on la 2X4 radio (the Buenos Aires-based radio exclusively devoted to tango) today. A piece authored by Glover himself (Milonguita Irmita) was played. As many of you know, Glover plays delicious  piano tango solos at Continental Club on Main Street. Let's support Glover and tango by attending his performances on Mondays and dance to his music.

If you want to listen to great tango music, just go to www.tangohouston.net and under the radio links just click la 2x4 and you will enjoy tango music 24/7 via Internet. For those not familiar with Spanish, I recommend to tune in during the early hours of the day and late evening and night; some shows with more news than tango are aired  during the late afternoon and early evening hours. The programming for the rest of the day is dominated by tango music, with short commercial interruptions. For those who understand Spanish, valuable information about milongas, classes/workshops and live tango performances in Buenos Aires can be found anytime.
