Argentine Tango Workshop with Robin Thomas February 25-26 Robin,
from New York City, combines the best of 'milonguero style'
with improvisation, creativity, and elements of new tango. His
style of dancing, which some refer to as "nuevo milonguero,"
is a style which has possibilities for everyone.

Robin has studied with renowned teachers such as Susana Miller,
with whom Robin has performed, and Brigitte Winkler as well as
Gustavo Naveira, Luciana Valle, and Julio and Corina.  Robin is
a world-renown DJ of tango and brings a special musicality to
the dance.  We are happy to welcome him back to Houston.

Friday, February 24th
9 pm -  Welcome milonga for Robin at Kathy's house in the Heights:
        721  8th 1/2 Street. (If coming from I10 or Allen Parkway
        take Studemont St to the N, cross White Oak St and turn
        left on 8th 1/2 St. The house will be on your right. If
        coming from 610N take N Main which enters Studewood,
        take a right on 8th 1/2 St., the house will be on your
        right. Or take Yale, turn left on 20th St, turn right on
        Studewood and turn right on 8th 1/2 St.)

Saturday, February 25th
1:00 pm - 2:10 pm       Back to basics:  Techniques for Posture and Connection
2:30 pm - 3:40 pm       Ambidexter:  Turning on Both Sides

9:00pm - 12pm           Milonga at Sonia's World of Dance Studio,
    located at 5539 Richmond Ave (between Sage and Chimney Rock)
    This is a united effort of Ilya Karash Tango Oblivion and our
    Helios group. There will be wine tasting, and a performance
    by Robin around 10:30PM. DJs Ilya and Robin.
