The big buzz is, of course, the new, permanent tango
venue in Houston, Cafe Tango, opening this Friday night
for Martin & Natia's classes and regular milongas every
Saturday. Martin & Natia are relocating their classes to
the new facility starting this Friday. They are adding a
free Wednesday basic class from 8-9pm, teaching limited
material such as the basic step, ochos, and molinetes.
Cafe Tango Bar has a terrific wooden floor, state of the
art sound, and a liquor license is in progress. Until TABC
approves, it will be BYOB. Admission to the Saturday night
dancing is $10/person. Saturday dancing starts at 9pm
and runs late (of course). Tango Cafe is located at 3217
Mercer at West Alabama, one block west of Buffalo Speedway.
Check it out! More info: <MartinNatiaTango at yahoo.com>

The event runs from 7:30 to 9:30pm, with the tango
performance about 9:00pm, followed by general dancing
until 11:30 with DJ Josh Dupont. Everyone is welcome.

ArgenTango hosts another "Our Practica" this Saturday
evening from 6:30-8:30pm at Dance Art, inside the Sterling
Plaza, 9888 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 166, near Beltway 8,

the tangueros in Buenos Aires, we present the Practica as
a time and place to review basics, work on new steps we
have learned, constructively share exercises, comments
and tips with other dancers, and practice what we have
learned before taking it to the social dance floor.
Let's practice and improve our steps all together in
a great spacious dance studio. Casual and friendly
atmosphere. Dress in your every day cloth and yet bring
your best tango shoes because we'll be sliding on a
beautiful wood floor. All Argentine Tango dancers,
students, instructors, and enthusiasts are invited.
