has assisted Susana Miller in classes, and assisted and
performed with Luciana Valle, Alex Krebs, and Florencia
Teccetti. Over the years he has traveled many places in the
States for Tango, and also to Berlin, Tokyo, and Buenos
Aires. He has taught in the Northwest: Eugene, Ashland,
Portland, Seattle, and also in Denver, Colorado. He has
also taught in Berlin, Germany. He studied classical
piano for 12 years growing up, and studied music in

A correction: Milonga del Centro is an independent group,
working in association with Tango Houston and HATA to
        put on last weekend's event.

        Gonzalo Garcia-Olano & Oscar Lopez-Gamundi write:

We want to thank those who attended the first Milonga
del Centro last Saturday. The response by the tango
community was so positive that rest assured that
you will hear from us soon. Special thanks go to
Natasha Soukis, for her hard work without which the
Milonga couldn't have happened, the late night crew
that helped us with the tables and chairs, and Tango
Houston and HATA for their support. See you in the
            next Milonga del Centro

        Tango Houston writes:

Tango Houston wants to congratulate the organizers
of "Milonga del Centro" for their classy, well
organized and successful Milonga of last Saturday,
            September 8th.

The membership drive that Tango Houston conducted
simultaneously was also very successful, and as
result of it we are happy to announce that Tango
Houston has now fifty new members!!

We hope that this revival of TH with mean an active
participation of its members, with new and invigorating
ideas, as well as help in the necessary work, which
hopefully will result in an expansion of the "tango
addicted bunch" in Houston. This expansion will
benefit the present groups functioning more or less
independently, so we also hope that there will be
eventually an increased cooperation with and among
all those groups, in the common interest.
