        Tango Houston hosts their annual Valentines Milonga this
        Sunday, at the Continental Club.  Live music with the full
        Glovertango orchestra, door prizes, Valentines theme.
        Don't miss it!  (Cafe Matisse is canceled this Sunday
        only.)

        Houston's own Eric Lanoix will be teaching
        and performing as part of the International
        Tango Show & Dance in San Antonio this weekend.

        Greg Harbar and The Gypsies play their regular third
        Sunday gig at Cosmos Cafe.

        Toe to Toe will again host their Galleria practicas,
        "Mall'anga", on two Saturday afternoons, Feb 21 and
        28, 5-7pm.  More dates should be forthcoming, but it is
        tricky to get The Galleria to commit to dates because of
        other commitments for the space.

        Glover Gill of Glovertango plays delicious solo tango
        piano at the Continental Club from 8-9pm. Come to dance
        or just to hang out in the relaxed atmosphere. 3700 Main

Tuesday

        The Houston Argentine Tango Association continues
        a seven week class cycle this week.  Students may

        Victor Collins teaches class - beginner 7-8pm, practica
        from 8-8:30pm, intermediate/advanced from 8:30-9:30pm,
        with practica until 10pm. $10/class, or $70 for a

        Toe to Toe continues their classes at Rice University, in
        association with the Rice Ballroom Dance Society, on the

        the full seven-piece Glovertango orchestra.  Continental
        Club, 3700 Main at Windburn, 8pm until they kick us
        out. $10/person, $7 Tango Houston members.  Membership is
        only $15 through March 2005.  Tips and donantions to the
        band are encouraged.  Special doorprizes will be awarded.

        Open dancing at Agora Cafe, 1712 Westheimer at Dunlavy,
        just across the street from Brazil, from late until later
        (generally after the practica above at Cafe Matisse). Agora
        is an older house that has been beautifully remodeled with
        an inlaid hardwood floor, an open design with balcony,
        and large windows open to the street. No cover, with
        sandwiches for sale and a full bar. Derik has stocked
        the jukebox with tango CDs. FREE
