        This Sunday, Tango Houston hosts another terrific milonga
        at The Continental Club featuring the fabulous and complete
        Glovertango; the finest seven piece tango orchestra this
        side of Buenos Aires. The party will start at 8:00 with
        recorded music and the band will play two sets beginn
        ing at 9:00. This event is always a great time, and will
        include the Tosca String Quartet, who will be back from
        an extended international tour. Door prizes will be
        awarded. Cover charge is $10.00, or $7.00 for members
        of Tango Houston, and you may join Tango Houston at the
        door to receive your discount. Tango Houston members
        will be on hand to provide security to and from the
        parking area for unescorted ladies. When you arrive at
        the parking lot, please call 281-731-5237, and someone
        will come to escort you to the door. When you leave,
        please ask anyone to see you to your car. The point men
        for this operation are Michael Figart, Richard Ebbs,

        The Gypsies play at Cosmos Cafe, 69 Heights Blvd.,
        this Sunday. Lots of tangos as well as other music,
        and a new dance floor.  7-10pm, free.  They are joined
        by the International Alliance as a regular third Sunday
        of the month event.

        Victor Collins' milonga and free class on the north side
        of town continue this Friday, with a practica before
        the class.  In addition, Victor sent a request for
        leaders in his current classes.

        Eric Lanoix & Susana Collins have added a second
        level of classes to their Wednesday night program.

        Leonor of Toe to Toe writes "Due to a number of factors
        (timing, other workshops, holidays) we have decided to
        cancel the workshops with Cynthia Fattori for Dec. 4 and
        5th. We will postpone them for a later date and promise to
        bring her back soon."  In addition, Toe to Toe has taken
        the Al Borde practicas on hiatus until after the holidays.
        Look for their grand return in January.

        The sixth annual Fandango de Tango in Austin is coming up
        over the long Thanksgiving weekend, Nov 24-28. This is a
        very big event, and draws people from all over the United
        States. Great milongas, and fantastic workshops over the
        five day event. The stellar lineup of teachers include
        Fabian Salas y Carolina del Rivero, Julio Balmaceda y
        Corina de la Rosa, Carolina Zokalski y Diego di Falco,
        Pablo Pugliese, and Luciana Valle y Alex Krebs. There are
        6 milongas and 74 hours(!!) of classes available. Ricardo
        Moncada of Learn to Dance is a very fine organizer and

Monday

        Glover Gill of Glovertango normally plays delicious solo
        tango piano at the Continental Club, now with extended
        performance from 8-9:30pm.  Great crowds lately, let's
        keep the energy.  Come to dance or just to hang out in
