for a workshop in Dallas.  --Lester

SALON PAVADITA is pleased to present an upcoming Argentine Tango workshop 
with ROBIN THOMAS, November 20-21, 2004.

Robin, acclaimed for his “nuevo milonguero” style, lives and teaches in New 
York City, has taught in more than 15 cities, and is a favorite DJ in both 
NYC and tango festivals worldwide.  He combines the best of close embrace 
style with improvisation, creativity, and elements of new tango and is known 
for his effective and entertaining teaching style.

Robin emphasizes connection, musicality and floorcraft of the dance allowing 
turns, sacadas, corridas, and such to harmonize with the dancers.  Robin has 
studied with favorite masters such as Susan Miller, Gustavo Naveira, Luciana 
Valle, Julio & Corina, and Brigitte Winkler of Germany among many others.

Saturday, November 20th
1:00—2:15  Essential Tango for Beginners/Int.: rhythm, posture, embrace
2:30—3:45  More Tango for Beginners/Int.
4:00—5:15  Even more Tango for Beginners/Int.

Sunday, November 21st
1:00—2:15  Milonga
2:30—3:45  Close embrace turns, changes of direction
4:00—5:15  Cool moves, hot volcadas!

Robin will be attending and will dance an exhibition at the TAD milonga on 
Saturday night from 8pm- midnight held at the Latino Cultural Center, 2600 
Live Oak, Dallas.

Robin will also be available for private instruction Friday through 
Wednesday.

NOTES:
All classes will be held at Salon Pavadita, 2714 1/2 Greenville Ave 
(upstairs), Dallas.
