        It's another decision Saturday, with two milongas: The
        monthly Tango Oblivion event hosted by Sonia's World
        of Dance and Ilya Karash, or the weekly milonga at Cafe
        Tango Bar hosted by Martin & Natia.

        Ilya Karash writes: Please note that due to a scheduling
        conflict, Tango Oblivion will be held THIS coming Saturday,
        March 24th, instead of the usual last Saturday of the
        month.  We will be returning to a normal schedule in April
        with a milonga on Saturday, April 28th.  Thanks to everyone
        who has helped make this milonga such a great success.
        We're looking forward to hosting all local and visiting
        tango dancers this Saturday and at our future events.
        We are constantly updating our growing music library (with
        plenty of both traditional and progressive tango music)
        and we are excited to share it with all our tango dancers.
        Music requests are encouraged and fulfilled.  Tango

Tuesday

        The Houston Argentine Tango Association continues their
        class cycle this week, now with three classes each night.
        Joan Bishop instructs at The Dance Place, 3300 Chimney Rock
        @ Beverly Hill, Suite 500.  This new space offers room
        to grow with new students.  Beginner 7-8pm, Intermediate

Wednesday

        Jackie Arita, manager of Salento Cafe, sponsors a
        weekly tango event.  The dancing runs from 9 pm till
        midnight. Salento Cafe is located at 2407 Rice Blvd in
        the Rice Village area: Salento moves all the tables to the
        walls and open up a nice floor of smooth tile. Tango music
        dj'ed by Oscar.  Salento offers a great selection of wines,
        including Argentine Malbec as house wine. Empanadas and

        Mercy & Mika teach independent classes on Wednesdays at
        City Dance Studio:

        Mikas teaches two tango fundamentals classes on Wednesdays
        at the City Dance Studio in Rice village at 5416 Chaucer
        Dr. (behind Ruggles). Fundamentals I from 7pm to 8pm and
        Fundamentals II from 8pm to 9pm. Both classes are full
        for the 6-week cycle that starts on February 21, 2007,
        but if anyone is interested in attending the next cycle

        Mercy has finished one very satisfying cycle of
        intermediate classes.  She is changing the name to "*Helios
        Tango Club*".  I am playing around with names, and let's
        see if this one sticks.  Wednesdays 9pm - 10pm at City
        Dance Studio intermediate classes starting February 21st.

        Argentine Tango at the Spanish Institute of Dance every

        or "milonguero", tango, this is the style most often
